Each Lipascor® capsule contains the proprietary ingredient xuezhikang® 600mg, including by-product of fermentation process consisting of Monacolin K (naturally occurring HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors 0.8%), natural pigment and unsaturated fatty acids.
Maintaining a sensible diet and exercise programme should be the first option to achieve healthy blood lipid (cholesterol) levels. Lipascor® is recommended for individuals who have tried and failed to achieve healthy blood lipid (cholesterol) levels through diet and exercise, as well as patients who are not willing or unable to tolerate conventional statin treatment.
Naturally occurring Monacolin (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors) found in Lipascor® capsules reduce the amount of lipids produced by the liver resulting in the effective regulation of circulating blood lipid (cholesterol and triglyceride) levels.

Lipascor® is a Chinese Proprietary Medicine. Each box supplies 60 Lipascor® capsules each containing 600mg xuezhikang® in blister packs of 10’s.
